Day 1

Serengeti National Park - Central Serengeti

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival, your dedicated Tanzania safari Serengeti guide will meet you to kickstart your Safari adventure. Your journey begins with a scenic drive to Serengeti National Park, offering glimpses of rural Tanzanian life and stunning landscapes on the way

During the drive to the park, you will enjoy a picnic lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive. Depending on the time of year, you may witness the Great Migration. From December to July, the herds can be found in the Southern Serengeti, while from July to October, they move to the Northern Serengeti. After a fulfilling day, you will return to your your selected Central Serengeti lodge or tented camp in time for dinner and overnight stay.

**Optional Maasai Village visit:** Should you wish, an authentic and culturally enriching Maasai village tour can be arranged (additional cost).

Day 2

Serengeti National Park - Central Serengeti

**Optional Hot Air Balloon Safari:** Early risers can choose to take a once-in-a-lifetime hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti plains at sunrise (additional cost). Part of our Serengeti safari tours, this offers a bird's eye view of the breathtaking Serengeti plains and a unique perspective of the wildlife below. You'll experience the Serengeti in a completely different way, taking in the stunning landscapes below as you watch wildebeest herds and other wildlife grazing peacefully in the golden light of dawn.

Alternatively, fuel up with breakfast head out for an early morning game drive in Central Serengeti, renowned for its year-round wildlife sightings, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and elephants, with the vast grasslands providing a picturesque backdrop. After a thrilling morning, return to your lodge or tented camp for a relaxing lunch where you can then spend your afternoon at leisure, unwinding at your accommodation, taking in the stunning views, or indulging in a spa treatment.

Before concluding the day, venture out for a late afternoon game drive, with opportunities to spot more wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. Return to your comfortable lodge or tented camp for dinner and a good night's rest.

Day 3 & 4

Serengeti National Park - Northern Serengeti

Start your day with breakfast at your accommodation before heading north to the Lobo area which you will be exploring for these two days. Keep an eye out for wildlife on your journey, such as baboons, buffalo, and hyenas.

The northern Lobo and Kogatende areas of the Serengeti are renowned for their stunning landscapes, wildlife, and breathtaking scenery. These areas are less visited than other parts of the Serengeti, given their remoteness. However, from June to October, visitors are rewarded with the dramatic crossing of the Mara River with huge concentrations of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, and predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs lurking nearby. You'll watch as nature takes its course, with some animals drowning and others providing a feast for the gigantic lurking crocodiles. .

After picnic lunches in the afternoon, you'll continue tracing the Great Migration, which may take you to the Lobo valley region, one of the natural highlights of this experience, featuring beautiful scenery with unique rock formations, hills, and vast plains that are perfect for photography and stunning sunsets.

Dinner will also be provided at your overnight accommodations of choice, before the days come to an end.

Day 5 & 6

Serengeti National Park - Southern Serengeti

Fuel up with breakfast before departing from Northern Serengeti to head south towards Seronera in the heart of the Southern Serengeti. For the next two days you will be exploring the southern Serengeti, which is renowned for being a key location in the Great Migration. Visiting during the months of January and February may come with the reward of witnessing the spectacular birthing, or calving season. At this time the wildebeest and zebra herds gather in large numbers in the southern Serengeti plains to give birth to their young. This unique opportunity offers fantastic predator prey action. This area is also known for its prolific resident wildlife population such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.

Your time during this part of the luxury Serengeti safari will be spent between mixing thrilling game drives with leisurely relaxation at your accommodation before ending the day with a wholesome dinner and a good night's rest.

Day 7

Serengeti National Park - Southern Serengeti

Start your day with breakfast and enjoy a leisurely morning at your accommodation or choose to embark on one final game drive if you wish. Depart after lunch from the Southern Serengeti and drive back to Arusha where you will spend your last night at your chosen hotel or lodge.

**Optional Shopping:** Depending on the time, you may have the opportunity for some souvenir shopping or to explore Arusha's vibrant markets.

The next morning, our representative will transfer you to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight as you bid farewell to Tanzania, taking with you unforgettable memories of your Serengeti safari tours.
