Day 1

Arrival In Tanzania & Transfer to the Serengeti

Distance Approximately: 325 km; driving time approx. 6-8 hours

Meals Included: Lunch & Dinner Only

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival, your dedicated Tanzania safari guide will greet you to kickstart your Safari adventure. Your journey begins with a scenic drive to Serengeti National Park, offering glimpses of rural Tanzanian life and stunning landscapes on the way. During the drive to the park, you will stop for a picnic lunch followed by a game drive on-route upon arrival in the Serengeti. Finish of the day by heading to your accommodation to unwind and a well deserved dinner.

Days 2 & 3

Full Day Serengeti National Park Safari

Distance Approximately: game drives, no transfers.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

The entire next two days is dedicated to game viewing in the Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s largest park. The Seronera Valley is a year-round wildlife haven, offering great opportunities to encounter a wide variety of animals, including the renowned Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinoceros), cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, hippos, and a rich array of bird species. The other areas that you visit will vary based on the time of the year and where the migrating herds are. In the evenings savor the mesmerising sights of the African sunsets painting vibrant colors across the vast Serengeti sky, creating a truly enchanting and unforgettable memories.

Optional Hot Air Balloon Safari: Choose to take a once-in-a-lifetime hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti plains at sunrise (additional cost). This offers a bird's eye view of the breathtaking Serengeti plains and a unique perspective of the wildlife below.

Days 4 - 6

Full Day Serengeti Migration Safari

Distance Approximately: 130km; driving time approx. 3-4 hours

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Depending on the time of year, you will either witness the Great Migration crossing the Mara river (July to October) or from December to July, the herds can be found in the Southern Serengeti. In the northern areas visitors are rewarded with sights of the dramatic crossing of the Mara River with huge concentrations of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, and predators like lions leopards.

The southern Serengeti comes with the reward of witnessing the spectacular birthing season. At this time the wildebeest and zebra herds gather in large numbers to give birth to their young offering fantastic predator prey action. Both locations provide unique and fantastic game viewing opportunities.

Day 7

Full Day Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Distance Approximately: game drives, no transfers.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, formed by a colossal volcanic explosion and collapse around 2 - 3 million years ago. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest unbroken volcanic crater and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

This spectacular location has one of the highest lion population per square kilometer in the world and provides a unique opportunity to witness a variety of animals in their natural habitat. On your game drive throughout the day keep a look out for over 300 different species of wildlife including the famous Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard – which can all be found here. The Ngorongoro Crater is truly a must-see on any itinerary.

Day 8

Transfer to Arusha

Distance Approximately: 170km; driving time approx. 3-4 hours

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch Only

Start your day with breakfast and enjoy a leisurely morning at your accommodation. Depart after lunch and drive back to Arusha where you will spend your last night at your chosen hotel or lodge.

Optional Extras: Choose to stop for some souvenir shopping or should you wish, an authentic and culturally enriching Maasai village tour can be arranged (additional cost).

The next morning, we will transfer you to the Airport for your departure flight as you bid farewell to Tanzania, taking with you unforgettable memories of your Serengeti safari tours.
