Day 1

Arrival & Relaxation In Arusha, Tanzania

Distance Approximately: 60 km; driving time approx. 1.5 hours

Meals Included: Lunch & Dinner Only

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where our driver will transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Settle into the comforts of Arusha Coffee Lodge where you can unwind and enjoy the facilities such as a bean-to-cup guided coffee tour, interactive jewellery making workshops or a relaxing massage at the spa. Take this time to relax and recharge for the exciting adventures ahead.

Day 2

One day exploring the Ngorongoro Crater and Conservation Area

Distance Approximately: 180 km; driving time approx. 3 hours

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

After breakfast depart Arusha Coffee Lodge and head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where your safari will start with a 2,000 foot descent down onto the crater floor of this UNESCO World Heritage site. Spend your next two days here on game drives looking out for over 300 different species of wildlife including the famous Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard – which can all be found here.

Furthermore, this spectacular location has one of the highest lion population per square kilometer in the world and provides a unique opportunity to witness a variety of animals in their natural habitat. The Ngorongoro Crater is truly a must-see on any itinerary.

Days 3 - 6

Four Days in the Serengeti National Park

Distance Approximately: 180km; driving time approx. 3-4 hours

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Transfer to the Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s largest park on a scenic drive. The Seronera Valley is a year-round wildlife haven, offering great opportunities to encounter a wide variety of animals, including the renowned Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinoceros), cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, hippos, and a rich array of bird species.

Depending on the time of year, you will either witness the Great Migration crossing the Mara river (July to October) or from December to July, the herds can be found in the Southern Serengeti. In the northern areas visitors are rewarded with sights of the dramatic crossing of the Mara River with huge concentrations of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, and predators like lions leopards.

The southern Serengeti comes with the reward of witnessing the spectacular birthing season. At this time the wildebeest and zebra herds gather in large numbers to give birth to their young offering fantastic predator prey action. Both locations provide unique and fantastic game viewing opportunities.

In the evenings savour the mesmerising sights of the African sunsets painting vibrant colours across the vast Serengeti sky, creating a truly enchanting and unforgettable memories.

Optional Extra - Hot Air Balloon Safari: Choose to take a once-in-a-lifetime hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti plains at sunrise (additional cost). This offers a bird's eye view of the breathtaking Serengeti plains and a unique perspective of the wildlife below.

Zanzibar
